Hello to all and greetings from the north. First of all my apologies for writing in English, I recently moved to east of Lausanne from Finland and despite my efforts have not in this half a year had the time to learn proper French.

I am a long time Porsche enthusiast and previously owned a slate grey 964 C2. Reluctantly sold it when we moved here. I am now searching for a 964 turbo and will have couple of questions regarding where to look and where to service. I will post these questions in the correct forums if you accept them in English.

Can't wait to find my new Porsche, especially here where you can enjoy even the classics throughout the year.

First of all, tervetuloa! (Yes, that means "Welcome".)

It's been a very long time since I logged into the Carreraclub, sorry about that. I'm also originally from Finland, from Jakobstad/Pietarsaari. (I live just outside Geneva on the French side, I work at CERN.)

I have a 1991 964 Turbo 3.3 and I can only recommend a 964 Turbo, they are great cars! ...But having said that, personally I'm getting quite fed up with the old K-jet, so I have been working on swapping out that and replacing it with a modern EFI. ...But more about that in another thread.

I found my car on one of the big "second-hand-car-sites" in Switzerland. I don't know what the moderator thinks about ads for sites in particular so I won't put it here, but there's a "...out24.ch" in the name.

Looking at the date of your first message, perhaps you have already found something?

Moi Magnus,

Indeed I was on the hunt for a 964 turbo, but fell on the dark side and just signed a deal on 996 turbo -03. Now I just need to wait for couple of weeks for the delivery.

How I could justify myself a watercooled? I want to enjoy the car all the year round and I just couldn't see myself driving the 964 through all this salt. And at least now I have something to wait for in the future when I have more garage space
